Finally got my new Corporate credit card. Now that my company has gone into financial services, the old one from Another Company (tm) just would not do and that card was cancelled on the first of the month - which was bad, as being out of sight, out of mind, I only knew I'd been getting a new card - not that my existing card would be cancelled. And add to that, my bank's ATM ate my ATM/debit card - which meant that when I was at the salon on Monday, I almost had a "Oops!" moment in terms of not having a credit/debit card that worked - luckily, they took a cheque. It would have been ungood otherwise. Luckily, I figured out what was going on before I made a huge purchase, such as textbooks, that I cannot cover on the spur of the moment.
